The Counselling space

Hope and Bloom counselling Space at Bridge House, Bewdley

I believe that the counselling environment plays an important role in supporting emotional wellbeing, safety, and personal growth. A calm, welcoming, and comfortable therapy space can help reduce anxiety, encourage relaxation, and make it easier to speak openly about thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

My counselling room has been carefully designed to provide a warm, non-clinical environment where children, young people, and adults can feel safe, respected, and at ease. Creating a space that feels welcoming and free from judgement is an important part of my person-centred approach to counselling. When individuals feel genuinely accepted and understood, they are often better able to explore challenges, develop self-awareness, and work towards positive change.

For children and teenagers, attending counselling can sometimes feel unfamiliar or overwhelming. Having a comfortable and supportive environment can help ease initial nerves and provide a sense of security from the moment they arrive. My aim is to create a therapeutic space where every client feels valued, listened to, and able to express themselves at their own pace.

My counselling practice is located at Bridge House, Riverside North, Bewdley, Worcestershire, DY12 1AB.

The counselling room is situated on the ground floor, offering easy access for clients. There is also a comfortable and welcoming reception area where parents, carers, or accompanying family members can wait while a child or young person attends their counselling session.
