The Counselling space

I believe the environment plays an important role in supporting each individual’s sense of safety, comfort, and emotional wellbeing. The physical space can have a meaningful impact on how relaxed someone feels and how able they are to express themselves openly. When the environment feels calm, welcoming, and non-clinical, it helps reduce anxiety and allows clients to settle more easily.

My approach is grounded in the belief that growth and healing are supported when someone feels genuinely accepted, understood, and free from judgement. The counselling space is an extension of this, and I have taken care to create an environment that feels warm, respectful, and adaptable. This can be especially important for children and young people, who may arrive feeling unsure, nervous, or vulnerable.

Located on the ground floor for ease of access, there is also a comfortable and inviting reception area where you can wait if you arrive early or while your child or teen is attending their session.
