Personal therapy for counselling students
Offering a tailored, integrative approach to counselling and psychotherapy, I support children, teenagers and adults across Bewdley, Kidderminster, Stourport-on-Severn and the wider Worcestershire area. I work with a broad range of emotional and psychological difficulties, with specialist experience in trauma, attachment, anxiety, emotional wellbeing and the unique challenges that can come with being neurodivergent.
My professional background spans counselling, therapeutic practice, education and mentoring, including extensive experience supporting children, young people and families who have faced barriers to education, emotional wellbeing and personal development. This breadth of experience enables me to build strong therapeutic relationships and offer support that feels genuine, compassionate and grounded in real-world understanding.
I recognise that every person's journey to counselling is unique. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stressed, low in mood or struggling with self-esteem. You might be processing grief or loss, working through trauma, navigating relationship difficulties, adjusting to a significant life change, or facing challenges that are affecting your daily life, education, work or family relationships.
...Sometimes there is no single reason, just a feeling that things are not quite as you would like them to be.
Whatever has brought you to counselling, I offer a safe, confidential and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement. Together, we can work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, helping you gain greater understanding, develop resilience and move towards meaningful and lasting change.
Ready to Take the First Step?
I believe a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. Finding a therapist who feels like the right fit, someone you feel comfortable enough to talk openly with, can make a real difference to the therapy process.
That’s why I offer a free initial consultation: an informal opportunity to talk about what has brought you to seek support and what you hope to gain from therapy. There is no obligation to continue, just a chance for us to see whether working together feels right for you.
